7,000 tons navy ship captain is having some fun at work

This amazing footage was taken off the coast of Norfolk, USA, many years ago and shows us a destroyer taking ‘evasive action.’ If you don’t find it amazing, you should know that this ship weighs only less than 7,000 tons.

Also, fully loaded this ship weighs almost 9,000 tons, but this captain need some fun and still manages to do a complete 180 degree turn in under one minute. We know drivers who can’t do that with a car in a parking lot!
