Start and run a four-cylinder diesel engine without intake and exhaust pipes

Start and run of an old Ford Sierra 1.8 diesel engine without intake and exhaust pipes.

We are curious if a new Euro 6 engine would start if we tried the same experiment.

Certainly the multitude of sensors had by the new engines would not let it start.
