Old Fendt tractor with a 300HP radial engine Start up and Sound

The tractor is an old Fendt diesel horse into which a Russian radial engine with around 300 hp was installed. The power is transmitted from the propeller shaft via a car clutch to a belt drive down to the tractor transmission. The car clutch serves as a torque limiter and thus protects the tractor transmission. The engine is started by a DB601 (Messerschmitt BF109 engine) flywheel starter, which can be clearly heard at the beginning of the video.
The maximum speed is around 50 km/h.
