Captains of two cargo ships did an impossible mistake

As such an incident takes place at sea it takes a lot of inattention and indolence.

We can not talk about a technical malfunction because the maneuvering space is a huge one and the captains should have been careful to avoid collision.
The accident happened last Sunday near the island of Corsica.
