Croatian winter: How people of Brač island remove snow

Snow and frost have even covered areas of Europe where snow is so rare that locals do not have snow removal or salt spreading machines on the roads.
On the island of Brač in Croatia, it came so long that people had to improvise. In the images posted on the social networks, a tractor crosses the streets by pulling a sled from which a man throws salt on the street.

The winter is brought by a polar storm that comes across Europe in the Siberian region. Besides, in the western part of the continent, the new episode of snow, blizzard and frost is called the “Eastern Beast”.
