The Italian Masaccio ferry, with 117 passengers on board, stumbled on 16.6.2016 in a pier on the Stromboli island of Sicily. The ship’s captain tried to ride the ship and loose to the pier, but with the adverse weather and strong waves, the ship was pushed and hit.
Some parts of the ship remained flooded. Fortunately, all passengers have got safely on the shore. The Italian ship Masaccio belongs to Liberty lines, it has a total length of 32.0 m. The ship was built in 1988 in Italy.
