The MV Symphony Performer for Symphony Shipping was christened and launched sideways at the Ferus Smit shipyard in Leer, Germany. Thereby, a huge flood wave was generated. The Symphony Performer is 125 meter long, 18 meter wide and has a deadweight of 10500 tons. It’s propulsion system for Dynamic Positioning operations consists of 2 ducted azimuthing thrusters and 3 bowthrusters. One further sister ship will follow.
