The biggest airplane in the world takes off for the first time

The ultra-wide double-plus-big Stratolaunch dual-fuselage airplane took its first flighttest Saturday morning from a desert runway in Mojave, California, USA.

The Stratolaunch is designed for firing rockets into space from a height of 11.000 measures (ie from the stratosphere, hence the name). It has a wingspan of 117 meters length and 73 meters.
