Two British Navy Ships collide in Bahrain. Last day at work for the captains

Two British Royal Navy minesweepers collided in the Middle East port of Bahrain on Friday.

There were no reports of injuries, but an investigation was opened, according to the organization told Reuters.

In a video posted on social media, HMS Chiddingfold is seen retreating until it collides with HMS Bangor, which was docked.

Rear Admiral Edward Ahlgren, commander of operations for the Royal Navy, indicated that no one was injured, but the vessels suffered some damage.

It is recalled that the British Royal Navy is working with the US Navy, in the Gulf region, to protect shipping in the Red Sea from an increasing increase in attacks by Yemen’s Houthi forces.

The Houthis say they act in solidarity with the Islamic group Hamas, which is in conflict with Israel in Gaza. The attacks disrupted world trade and raised fears of supply shortages.
