Two year old drives his own mini speed boat

Young Olly, at just two years old, is already mastering the art of operating, transporting, and caring for his boat—a remarkable feat for someone his age. His miniature vessel is a homemade replica of a Lewis Boomerang ski boat, complete with a 35cc two-stroke engine that emits an authentic gurgle, mirroring the craftsmanship of the boat itself.

Given Olly’s tender age, his parents wisely keep the throttle restrained, allowing him to familiarize himself with steering the boat at a gentle pace. Nevertheless, it’s evident from the outset that Olly possesses a natural aptitude for navigating his vessel with precision.

Yet, as any seasoned boater knows, the true joy of being on the water is balanced by the responsibilities of transportation and maintenance. Remarkably, Olly is undaunted by these tasks, readily handling the winch on his miniature trailer to position his boat. This feat, though small in scale, is no easy feat even for adults accustomed to the challenge. However, Olly’s determination knows no bounds.

A successful day on the water concludes with thorough cleaning, and Olly understands this well. With scrub mitt in hand and soap at the ready, he meticulously washes his boat from bow to stern, completing the cycle of care.

Witnessing Olly’s enthusiasm and competence, one can’t help but feel hopeful for the future. If only every child displayed such dedication and capability, the world would undoubtedly be a better place, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the challenges we face.
