Tatrapan 8×8 CC in action. Better than any other trucks such as Volvo, Scania, Iveco, Kamaz or Peterbilt

The TATRAPAN 8 × 8 CC uses the latest chassis of the seventh row, giving the vehicle exceptional terrain driving characteristics. Changing the chassis height and pneumatic suspension make it easier to handle the containers. A three-person crew is sitting in an armored, air-conditioned cabin with independent heating.

The basic cabin armor resists 7.62 × 51 NATO (STANAG 4569 Level 1). If necessary, the cabin can be equipped with ceramic plates to increase ballistic resistance, up to 7.62×1.5 with a tungsten tip (STANAG 4569 Level 3). Two people can install ceramic plates in field conditions within three hours.

The bottom of the cabin achieves a level 2 ballistic resistance against mines. The crew is thus safe against the explosion of mines equivalent to 6 kg of TNT under any wheel. TATRAPAN 8×8 CC “allows the installation of all TATRY 7th gear motors and gearboxes.” There are engines with a minimum output of 300 kW. The maximum design speed of the vehicle is 118 km / h. The TATRAPAN 8 × 8 CC internal tanks will run up to 800 kilometers. The curb weight of the vehicle is 18.8 tons, the payload is 17 tons. If necessary, attach a trailer weighing up to 16 tonnes for the TATRAPAN 8 × 8 CC. TATRAPAN 8 × 8 CC can be transported by C-130 Hercules, rail or freight.
