The Embraer KC-390 is a tactical / logistic and in-flight refueling aircraft developed and manufactured by Embraer Defense and Security, a subsidiary of the Brazilian Embraer group.
The aircraft establishes a new standard for medium-sized military transport, aiming to meet the operational requirements of the Brazilian Air Force, replacing the C-130 Hercules.
The manufacturer also intends to lift it as a substitute for the other Air Forces that have in their fleet this class of military freighter. It is also the largest airplane produced in Latin America.
