An excavator driver in Blumberg, Germany, in the Black Forest-Baar district caused around half a million euros in property damage. With his heavy work machine, a Volvo excavator, the man demolished the balconies of a new building complex on Wednesday evening.
After the action, the man got into his car and drove away. Shortly thereafter, however, he turned himself in to the police. The reason given by the contractor for the action was outstanding payments, which he believed had been wrongly withheld.
